Aloha Construction x USA Reads x Willow House
USA Reads, a national initiative of the World Literacy Foundation, works to close the literacy gap by providing books and resources to children in disadvantaged U.S. communities. With nearly 60% of low-income children lacking access to books, early intervention is essential to improve literacy, brain development, and future success.
Willow House, a Chicago-area non-profit, supports grieving children and families through free peer support groups and community outreach. Since 1998, it has provided vital resources, including specialized programs for suicide loss and expressive arts, thanks to donations and volunteers.
Aloha Construction x Camp One Step
Camp One Step by Children’s Oncology Services is a leader in providing empowering, supportive, educational and fun experiences for children (ages birth -19) who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families. Camp One Step is the only local organization to offer 10 free in-person camps, as well as connected digital programs, throughout the year serving pediatric cancer patients, survivors, and their families.
Aloha Construction x Fill A Heart 4 Kids
FAH4K sponsors over 2,400 at-risk youth annually, offering support through meal security, educational assistance, and life skills development. They distribute over 230,000 pounds of food and food gift cards each year to ensure children have meals during school breaks. The organization also provides over 50,000 school supplies, tutoring, and opportunities for youth to volunteer and build confidence. FAH4K offers vital winter clothing, STEM programs, and life skills classes, along with celebrations and WeCare packages to promote dignity and self-worth. Additionally, they distribute Toiletries 4 Dignity packages to help improve children’s well-being and school attendance.

The Our Shining Stars Foundation (OSSF) is dedicated to empowering families, especially single-parent households and those from low-income communities in Zion, Illinois. Through various outreach programs, they provide vital resources and support, fostering hope and connection. OSSF organizes events like back-to-school giveaways and holiday toy drives to assist families in need, offering school supplies, holiday cheer, and summer program opportunities. Their mission focuses on building stronger communities by offering assistance, celebrating families, and creating moments of joy for those who need it most.
